The story behind the artwork
The feeling of floating underwater, as if you were a mermaid, brings a deep sense of freedom. The tiny sea creatures—delicate and drifting— move effortlessly with the current. Even the smallest jellyfish seem to dance beneath the surface, carried gently by the ocean, completely free.
About the artist
Formal training, life training, sheer determination, hard work and passion has brought me to a place of feeling confident and comfortable in my own skin. I believe in the gift factor and we have a responsibility to hone that gift, embrace and enjoy the creativity and imagination and stay true to oneself. Of course the ocean and all its elements above and beneath are my main inspiration but the science side of my brain loves rock formations and hidden treasures in the tiny things even under a microscope.
