Silk Mulberry Square Scarf

Australian artist John Klein's Deco Goddess, an Art Deco portrait of a bronze goddess, framed in bold black and gold, printed on a mulberry silk square scarf, perfect tied at the neck, in your hair or on a bag.

The story behind the artwork

As an artist, I am drawn to the timeless beauty and sophistication of Art Deco and my portrait of fellow artist and presenter Claudia Chan Shaw reflects this passion. I was inspired by her shared love of the movement and sought to capture her essence as an Art Deco goddess. I have painted Claudia as a bronze sculpture referencing the Austrian sculptor Lorenzl, who was renowned for his Art Deco style. Her elegant posture, stylised hair and striking features embody the bold, glamorous spirit of the era.

Australian artist Melanie Vugich's In the Bright Light of Day I Love You Even More, a sunlit breakfast-table still life bursting with flowers in orange, pink, blue and gold, printed on a mulberry silk square scarf, perfect tied at the neck, in your hair or on a bag.

The story behind the artwork

Bright, sunlight-filled mornings at the breakfast table are among my favourite times. Surrounded by carefully chosen flowers and art books to wander through, I sit quietly with my morning tea. These simple rituals feel grounding and inspiring, a gentle pause before the day begins, where light, colour, and creativity softly set the tone for everything that follows.

About the artist

After growing up in Broken Hill and living in Adelaide and Sydney, I traveled to Europe, fell in love with Italy and made Florence the base for my textile-design business. In the 22 years since, I have produced fabric designs for high-end fashion labels such as Blumarine, Etro, Roberto Cavalli and Enrico Coveri. I have also participated in numerous art exhibitions. I am passionate about art.

About the artist

I’m an Australian artist from the World Heritage listed Blue Mountains. After living in Tel Aviv, London, New York and France for decades, I decided to move to the beautiful Blue Mountains. I obtained my Diploma in Fine Arts in 2012. I paint in a studio surrounded by flowers and nature, close to bushwalks and mountains outside my door. I’m a true colourist which I try to capture with my art practice.

Italian artist Giulio Iurissevich's Dreamy Floral Muse, a delicate ink portrait of a woman emerging from blooming flowers in lilac, sage and dusty pink, printed on a mulberry silk square scarf, perfect tied at the neck, in your hair or on a bag.

The story behind the artwork

In this garden of reverie, a muse blooms unseen. Petals whisper secrets against a sky of grey pearl, where a feminine silhouette emerges—not to be possessed, but to inspire. She is the fleeting thought between dream and awakening, the timeless elegance found where nature meets art. Wear this fleeting beauty, let it drape you in mystery, and become the story the flowers long to tell.

About the artist

Illustrator, graphic designer and urban artist, Giulio is focused above all on the female figure and specialises in fashion illustration. He has collaborated with prestigious brands and magazines all over the world. He currently lives in Italy close to Venice.

French artist Fannie Faivre's Hot Sun, a sun-drenched summer design in warm terracotta, sand, soft blue and sunny yellow, printed on a mulberry silk square scarf, perfect tied at the neck, in your hair or on a bag.

The story behind the artwork

A design that calls for this summer moment : the sea is calm and blue, the sun is high in the sky and your skin is warm and sandy. Maybe an ice cream or a drink while you watch the glimmer on the transparent sea waters.

About the artist

I’m an artist and mother of two that moved 10 years ago away from France and ended up in Sweden, living by the sea in the countryside. My life as a woman and the landscapes I have encountered in my migration colour my artworks. I do paintings, textile design and performances. My dream would be to live only from my work as an artist because I feel I have so much to share.
