The story behind the artwork
April is a beautiful month. The weather is mild but the sky is blue and the light is lovely. Magnolias seem to be everywhere and their scent is divine. On these mornings I love nothing more than sitting down to a cup of tea and looking through some of my art books surrounded by Banksia and Magnolia.
About the artist
After growing up in Broken Hill and living in Adelaide and Sydney, I traveled to Europe, fell in love with Italy and made Florence the base for my textile-design business. In the 22 years since, I have produced fabric designs for high-end fashion labels such as Blumarine, Etro, Roberto Cavalli and Enrico Coveri. I have also participated in numerous art exhibitions. I am passionate about art.
