The story behind the artwork
Folk Still Life - is a combination of colourful illustrative folk Egyptian vases and flowers, and Eastern European embroidered flowers and fruits decorative elements. The layout of the artwork is one of a classic folk scarf in which the elements are placed in geometric shapes and are surrounded by decorative, flourished borders.
About the artist
I’m a graphic designer and architect. My combined studies of art, architecture, and history have motivated me to travel the world in search of inspiration. I describe myself as a passionate treasure hunter, constantly digging through the visual spectrum for my next great find. I finished my Bachelor Degree in Architecture and Urban Planning in Bucharest and I’m currently living in Birmingham, UK.
