My local Hawkesbury bushland just metres from my studio. The day I began the painting, the sunshine was glorious, the afternoon stretched long and unhurried and the colours were magnificent. Truly a gift of a day.
About the artist
Mellissa is a painter and printmaker who lives by the Hawkesbury River north of Sydney. She celebrates the shape, colour and brushstroke of contemporary impressionism, honing her art to vibrant optimistic harmony with the natural landscape.
