The story behind the artwork
The beauty of the Peony flower is its lush and ruffled petals. This particular flower went from being a closed bud to an incredible explosion of pink beauty. It changed daily and eventually burst open to display its colourful centre.
About the artist
After growing up in Broken Hill and living in Adelaide and Sydney, I traveled to Europe, fell in love with Italy and made Florence the base for my textile-design business. In the 22 years since, I have produced fabric designs for high-end fashion labels such as Blumarine, Etro, Roberto Cavalli and Enrico Coveri. I have also participated in numerous art exhibitions. I am passionate about art.
