The story behind the artwork
I love the moment when nasturtiums take over — wild twisting stems, generous round leaves, and bursts of colour spilling freely through the garden. I paint them every year, drawn to their untamed beauty and joyful resilience, a living reminder that nature is at its most captivating when it grows unrestrained.
About the artist
After growing up in Broken Hill and living in Adelaide and Sydney, I travelled to Europe, fell in love with Italy and made Florence the base for my textile-design business. In the 22 years since, I have produced fabric designs for high-end fashion labels such as Blumarine, Etro, Roberto Cavalli and Enrico Coveri. I have also participated in numerous art exhibitions. I am passionate about art.
