The story behind the artwork
This piece was inspired by my love of vases, and the rich cool tones that color my world! Bright and beautiful, yet calming and peaceful. Colors slowly melding together – the beginning of a new story. Wild vases is part of a series depicting different vessels – each uniquely lovely. Painted in acrylic on cradled board.
About the artist
Patricia Cafasso is a New York based mixed media artist. After working as a Graphic Designer and Art Director, she rediscovered her passion for painting and drawing. Her love of bold colors, high energy, and texture are the dominant features found in most pieces. She is deeply inspired by nature’s intense colors, especially sunrises and sunsets!
